Most of these files and programs are free although
a few have a small fee attached. They are intended to improve
your on-line experience and/or to make your website a better place.
I will add to this list as I come across more free or inexpensive
(pronounced "cheap") programs.

There are a lot of anti-spam programs out there that
charge from $10.00 to $30.00 to help screen your email and protect
you from the constant Viagra ads, moneymaking opportunities, etc.
MailWasher Pro is no exception ($29.95). But they do have a
free version that works just fine with limitations. It only
works with one email address per computer and not with Hotmail. Be

Many people don't realize that the "DELETE" key
is a misnomer. It doesn't really delete a file from your hard
drive, it only eliminates "easy access" to that file. The file
itself will sit on your hard drive until the space it occupies is
needed. With today's huge hard drives, many times, that space is never needed and the file
you thought was gone long ago is easily retrieved by anyone with a file
recovery program. (Something to think about when you give or
throw away your old computer.)
